Not on its own. A lender can run digital applications, an LOS, portal document upload, and digital signatures while analysts still read documents, re-key figures, spread statements, and draft memos by hand. The file moves faster between people, but the work inside each stop is unchanged. Digitizing the handoff does not eliminate the work inside the handoff.
